I have just spent ages putting together a mexican pine table, one of three, and guess what?
No, all the bits are there.
Yes, the instructions are straightforward.
Did you guess right?
The base does not slot into the table top. The holes are in the wrong place. I have checked and double checked and I am sure I have put it together properly. However, before anyone says it I am female and not the greatest DIYer! So maybe it is me but I have put this sort of thing together before with no problems.
Moral of story: only buy ready assembled furniture?

"one of three"
Is it a nest of tables, perhaps you are trying to attach the smallest base to the largest top.
LOL, sorry couldnt resist.... :0)
LOL yes a nest of tables, and first thing I checked was table size. Got bits of wood and screws all over the lounge and going to leave it all till morning and have few stiff brandies to calm me down lol
Id go for Stella Ms Artois
Or try 118118, and say "furniture construction" or something similar!
Have few stiff brandies now and then try again later, if you build something interesting take a photo of it and put it up for voting!! :0)
Thanks guys feel better for sharing my problem. Will still have some brandy though! I can't drink Stella as that would feel like cannibalism.
Someone's probably sitting somewhere with a box supposedly containing 3 sombreros, wondering what to do with 2, and half a flat pack table and some screws.
Did you read the instructions?
What's the point?
They're usually in Swedish....
I bet it's made in China
A Swedish Mexican pine table made in China...that's just asking for trouble...
instructions translated by a dyslexic German!
and printed on an off-register gestetner.
