Hi I'm getting to the stage where I need a small portable lighting kit for portrait shoots. I feel I need a continuous lighting source though not entirely sure that's right? Can anyone advise on an inexpensive kit? Thanks Nick

My advice don't ever use continuous lighting for portraits The older types will make your models sweat which is not a pretty look.
Even the new cooler ones mean the pupils will be constricted and look tight also so you will have issues with consistency as they get older
its just my opinion but i hope it helps
