Airport Security

25 Feb 2013 6:18PM
Has any one traveled by air recently with a Giottos rocket-shaped air-blower in either hand luggage or hold luggage. I ask as I will be traveling to Spain in a fortnight and was wondering if Airport Security have the common sense to realize that these items are just rubber air blowers.

I travel fairly regularly to USA and Portugal, always take my camera kit as hand luggage, always take a rocket blower, not had any problems.

A rubber item shouldn't show on an X-ray view.

The general shape, as they look like a rocket and with the current levels of security airport officials are paranoid about there own shadows.
