Hi guys, has anyone used Aldis print services? These are just prints for at home (Not for sale or anything) I'm after a couple of 10 x 8s and a number of 6x4s. Thier prices for 10X8s seems great (34p!!!) plus they have an offer for 100 free standard prints. But I don't want to spend an age sending the images over if the quality is awful. I was stung once by snappy snaps that way (all images came out with a green tint!!).

    Cheers in advance,

    Ash

Hmm.. Just found Lidl have the same prices, so I guess the same question applies, has anyone used either Aldi or Lidl for photo printing?

I've not used them myself but as a guide to the print quality is to find out who they use to print the photos as obviously thy do not do it themselves.

Why waste 34p if someone else has tried them and they are rubbish? Better to ask around first, as they say look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.

Fits very nicely with " If You Pay Peanuts You Get Monkeys " .....Grin

If you don't want rubbish try a proper lab.

Hi Meercat, I have had some prints that came out with a green tint, After some trial and error I found it was the file format that made the differance. JPeg files came out with the tint but BMP files came out perfect. I dont know why, but some out there might be able to explain.
