    Yeah, Nick Brandt is one of my heroes.

    I love the way that he captures nature with such majesty, and his animal portraiture injects a real regal quality into his subjects, almost humanising them.

    saw his work for the first time in a book on Friday night... then had a feeble attempt to re-create his work on a Rhino shot I took on Saturday...

    not easy, posted it yesterday...

    Have a copy of professioanl photographer with a portfolio of his work in from late 2006 i think. Was impressed at the time but had kind of forgot about him but will trawl his stuff again ... visually very interesting work.
