Amazon Black Friday Deals

Amazon are running some nice "Black Friday" deals this week, including a number of digital cameras, camera bags, tripods and other stuff on special offer. If you go to the Amazon homepage and click the Black Friday link on the top right you'll find them or in the Camera and Photo section they are listed under "Lightning deals".

Currently they have:
Canon Powershot A3500 - 59 - normally 89

Upcoming:
Canon Powershot SX280 (again)
Sony Cyber-shot WX60
Canon IXUS 132

Expired:
Canon Powershot SX280 for 160! (normally 220)
Nikon Coolpix S6400 - 99 - Normally around 145 elsewhere.
Sony NEX-3N - 250 - normally 290

They've also got the Nikon Coolpix S6400 and Sony NEX-3N coming up later today. The NEX-3N is currently 289 so I imagine when the price drops it will be the cheapest mirrorless camera of the year!

A word of caution...

Do some research before committing. One deal looked fantastic - until I checked and found similar pricing elsewhere.

Just sayin'...

I sometimes wonder about these deals. I was looking at the Canon 50mm 1.8 II early last week and it was 84. It's on the deal's page for this week at 84 so it's no cheaper than it was a while ago.

I got my slingshot bag today - 49, which I don't think was a bad deal. I did notice that some of the prices were no better [at all!] than normal - so it is as well not to just assume it is a good deal.

The SSD I ordered a couple of days a go had been rising in price, so ordered it quick.

Its been delivered tomorrow but I notice today the price has now dropped by 12 Smile

Lol I will never understand Amazons pricing, but I can`t complain, most of the parts I`ve ordered have been quite a bit lower than any other vendor.

If any one wants a Panasonic G5 with the 14-150 it is available for 499 for the next 40 minutes.

Or how about a photography course for 1/8 of its original price Smile

Camera World are doing some "weekend only" deals too. Anyone wanting to dabble with micro 43 they have the GF3 with 14-42mm for just 99! OK, I know we have the GF5 and 6 available but it's still going to be a better quality camera than many point n shoots for a beginner.

If the budget can stretch further they have the Olympus E-PL5 for 399 with the 14-42mm too.
