OK folks, heads up!!

We have now got two alternatives to choose between:

ONE: I've found a house in Rhosgadfan that sleeps 7 but it's three double beds, so Terry & Betty are OK, the rest of us would fight for the sofa and pull out bed. Cost 350 for the two nights, which retails at 58 per person for the stay. SELFCATERING I've not been able to view it so I have no idea exactly what it's like, but the people sound OK over the phone :o)

TWO: Dol Peris GuestHouse has a double, a 3 room bunkhouse and a single available at 25 per person per night. ROOM ONLY NO FOOD

One has the advantage it is all ours, but is in a more remote location - no pubs / cafes locally.

Two has Petes Eats down the road and is in Llanberis, is cheaper but has less privacy...

Can you let me know asap by this evening which you'd prefer...

OK house booked in Rhosgadfan. Going down to check it out on Saturday but googlestreetview looks fine and the owner seems very nice, so we are booked in. I'll pay a deposit on Saturday or whatever she wants to do and let you know about coughing up Smile

House is ours - paid by cheque so no rush. We don't have to leave early on Sunday and will have a nice new kitchen worktop to eat off.

Do any of you like chillli or veg curry? I can rustle something up for Friday night if you like...

Not sure what time I'm finishing work - should be 5pm, but it can vary on the late side...

Nearly there Smile

so Pete just to clarify, we're talking meeting on the Friday, house for Fri and sat night, boat burning Sat night, and dissipate in a relaxed fashion on Sunday?

Just need to be sure as I'm booking a few things now...

PS I like veg curry

especially with meat in it Wink Smile

Yup! Meet officially starts sometime Friday (whenever peeps get here). So you can do the whole day if you want, then meet up in the house after sunset, or whatever.

Alternatively we could all head over the Amlwch for some music, eat there on Friday evening and convoy back to house late...

Thoughts please???

I'll send out maps of where the house is later in the week OK.

It'll be locked Tel*

Can you potter about somewhere in Wales until I get off work after 5pm, then we can meet up & I'll take you there, or meet you there. We've only got one key I'm afraid.
