I set up and manage a web site for collectors of a range of china and it's become a tedious job with bitching and whining and emails coming out of my ears.

    Sound familiar Pete?

So I thought I'd just take this oportunity to say a big thankyou to Pete and the Gang for all their hard work on our behalf.

There must be times when they wonder if they are mad to put up with us.

But we do appreciate you guys and a BIG thankyou coming your way...
    Group Hug everybody.

After last night's 'fun & games' and various other comments/threads recently I hope this thread comes as a welcomed relief. Not 'brown nosing' but thanks.

People are sometimes so quick to criticize and slow to congratulate

I too know what it is like to be at the sharp end!
Many years ago I used to run a Packet Radio BBS.
Similar to dial up Bulletin Boards, but operated via Amateur Radio.
What a thankless task that was.
I used to enjoy it all the same until one day my Father passed away.
I let everyone know that I would be unavailable for a short while and asked that I not be disturbed by anyone except my remote system operator, and only then in cases of emergency.

    What happened?
the day after the funeral I was rung at 10 o'clock at night by someone to complain that there was a problem and he wanted it fixed immediately.
I explained the situation to him as politely as possible, and told him that as I was funding the service then I would get to it as soon as I could.

This guy was adamant that I would fix it there and then!

Needless to say, the system went off about 2 minutes after I got off the phone and never went back on again.

    I agree with Merl.
    Thank you Team!
