Looks like a 90 series to me Vince, the plate is pre 1963. They were made between 54 & 59

    I think you'll find it's a Rover 90 produced from 1954 to 1959 but I'm not a car expert (I am old though)

As per the above old 90 series Rover, Dead give away apart from the shape ....Smile Is the rear passenger doors, They open from the pillar, Often reffered to as suicide doors.

Something that becomes obvious when you open one at anything above 30 MPH.....Wink

Its been years since I drove one of these, But I seem to remember it handled like a grand piano on steroids.......!!!

There are various websites specifically dedicated to this car.

    Example here.

Yeah, found 'em now but I had to know what sort of car it was before I could look for it, if you catch me drift.

Cars are not one of my strong points - if anyone starts talking about cars within my earshot I tend to drift off to sleep. Probably only exceeded by football in the boredom stakes.

Just needed to know what this was as I intend to submit it to alamy.

Thanks for taking time to respond though.

You might want to find out what was the specific model if you are submitting it as a stock shot.
