Could do with a 5D backup for my 5DmkII , seems to be 600 is the cheapest on ebay , but prefer to get it from someone who has used it properly ! any ideas ...

I think you'll be hard pushed to find many out there.
It took me a few weeks to find one.
Good luck with your search and I hope you find a bargain as I did.

What makes you think anyone here is more likely to be a more careful user than someone on Ebay?

I suppose that depends on whether he buys it from a photographer or just someone who has a Canon 5D.

I could sell you mine, but I'd be wanting about the same as this one at MPB.

what a ridiculous comment , obviously a member of this photographic community stands to be slightly more respectable and trustworthy than an immigrant ebay trader with absolutley no knowledge of cameras buying and selling camden market stylee , and strange - I can even see the photos posted by the said camera if someone is selling it ( that could be useful hey ! )

But hey thanks for pointing that out anyway Smile

At a 300 price difference you could probably buy the lower cost camera and get a shutter change and still be in pocket.

Just bought one this weekend off a photographer on eBay. 2 years old, just had a full service and comes with a canon double charger, 3 batteries and all original software straps etc in original box.

Only taken 1700 shots since new.

Price 860 inc delivery.

Should be here today Smile Now just got to sell my 40D
