Looks like an excellent tool - but as 'very good value' I wonder what the cons are. I would be using it with 24mm and 14mm on micro 2/3 lenses. Looking at the front elements of the lenses I would have thought vignetting unlikely due to small diameter of front element compared with the diameter of the barrel of the lens. Any ideas?

I should have looked. Very useful article, thanks. I may get one, as they are not at all dear for my filter size, but I can see that it's no substitute for my b&w10 stop screw in - but useful for less dramatic situations, and not visually opaque. Having to focus by distance markings on the lens can be trying.
