makes no difference Paul. We can all learn from each other. Whereabouts in South Wales are you / I am just outside cardiff
I am in the vale of Glamorgan just west of cardiff ? Is there a group that already meet up then ?
There are quite a few of us, me, Phil Morgan, Geoffrey Baker, Ian Munro, Alan Coles, Morg, Buffalo Tom..... and many more.
Ian Munro even set up a camera club called Inn Focus.
Tell me more ? How can I get involved ? do "In Focus" meet regularly ? Where are they based ?..... Oh so many questions ! sorry
I am not a member as they are too far from me (I am in Bridgend, they are in Ebbw Vale /Tredegar area).
Try messaging Ian Munro, I am sure he will tell you.
We do go out from time to time, but mostly spur of the moment.
I'm in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, but would love to meet up with like minded photographers for help and advice as i'm a beginner also, but i dont mind travelling.
Is there anyone around lower Ceredigion or North Pembrokeshire area?
Yes, lots of people.
It would be good to meet up with others to go out to do some photography up this way. If anyone is interested in meeting up could you let me know please! Margaret
I'm in pembrokshire and would welcome the opportunity to meet other local ish photographers.
I'm in Monmouthshire but usually happy to travel. I would love to go to the Waterfalls, but am not happy to go alone, especially in this risky climate!! Anyone up for that? 😊
I guess you are talking about the waterfalls in Ystradfellte.
I found that it works best when the water is shallow (after a few dry days), as you can see the water bed.
Water level is probably too high now.
