Hi guys, looking for some opinions. I'm looking for a new compact and have ruled it down basically to two cameras.
First choice was the Canon IXUS 7 which is 7.1MP with 3x zoom and I can get for roughly £115.
Second choice is The Panasonic TZ2 which has 6MP but a 10 x zoom which has a Leica lens. Can get it for £120.
I already have the 300D with zoom lens so would you go for the Canon or the Panasonic?
Ideas and thoughts much appreciated.

Hi there, not sure about the TZ2 but I would reccomend the TZ3,which has more res, like he Canon one.
I have a Canon 350d,plus the Panasonic TZ3 for popping into my pocket where-ever I go,and its realy great.
EPZ did a review of it,an its even won an award, fun to use, produces good pics, and has a good zoom.
I had a Canon IXUS and it was great until it got trashed in a skiing prang. Now I have a Sony Cyber-shot which is brilliant. Excellent res, small, great movies etc etc. I also have a Canon 40D for the more serious stuff!
