Just watching my "Uncle Brian's" lads - - well done, JW and Paul Sackey!! Smile

Brian Ashton used to be the PE teacher when I was at Ashton High School in Preston - - hence the "Uncle Brian" tag (with his permission, of course!)

Hope the lads do well - - I remember being up watching the final last time and seeing JW kick that winning goal!! TREE--MEND---USSSSS Smile

true... though at least we didn't nearly lose to them... Wink if Tonga had beat SA we'd have had a much tougher game tonight... as for the aussies, i think they'll be getting their revenge, hope they wont though...

Encouraging. We actually looked as if we were enjoying it tonight. Go in as underdogs against the Aussies, it upsets them even more if we win from there Smile There were a few moments of genuinely impressive rugby I thought. You never know.

Tomorrow I am Fijian though.

Just stumbled across this site by accident --- interestingly Brian used to be at my school too, LOL

Cracking game though.

You should have nailed them with that scrum advantage. To bad Wales kept going for the big points instead of taking the kicks like the Fijian's.

Oh well better luck next time...Atleast you qualify for the next world cup for coming in third.

But what a cracking game. It's a shame on games like that somebody has to loose.

cheers
