Just bought an MacBook pro, not sure what to go for aperture or Lightroom as I've always just used photoshop to sort my photos. Any advice would help greatly.

    Cheers Andre

Aperture 3 is £54.99 from the App Store + it's easy to use and the results are excellent.

Have a look at Pixelmator from the Apple App store. For about £20 it will do loads that Photoshop will do and it is about to be upgraded free if you bought from the Apple store. It would work well alongside Aperture.
