Well I have seen them down south once.................in the late '80's/early '90's I think so I wont hold my breath but I cant pronounce what Cole said

If the sky remains clear tonight, I'll be up at the SAS memorial on Hill o' Row at about 11.00 p.m. to see what is to be seen.

Looks like I picked the wrong night to go looking... I went with my brother on Sat night (Hour & a half drive to the north coast) , but it clouded over & we saw nothing, very next night THESE were taken by a local guy (who knows what he is doing obviously!!) from exactly the same places I had been the night before Sad

must watch the weather for any chance of clear skies tonight.
