Topic is WINDOWS, incuding unglazed windows (lights). Not the software, and not merely a view from a window. You may include (decorative) surrounds, windowsills, frames etc. or have reflections. Enjoy yourselves!

Windows: like the Royal Pageant, it seemed a good idea at the time. I've had a cold, wet holiday in a caravan. Hope you fared better, and managed to take some more photos to add to the four great images already submitted. One day to go! Bump, bump, bump.
Less than two hours to go folks! Any more smashing (or otherwise) shots at windows? Excellent quality and variety so far. I might be a little late in judging , but will do so ASAP.
Time's up, folks! Thank you for your high class entries. I'll be back in half an hour or so to announce the winner.
A VERY tough one to judge. I'll be commenting on each entry individually during the week. Hope you'll find time to look at each others work, and perhaps make some comments yourselves.
Wynn has a talent for conveying mood, as we've seen in his photos of bleak landscapes and derelict buildings. His photo of a rain spattered tent window, and the blurred background of fellow sufferers has conveyed par excellence the utter misery of camping in a cold, wet windswept field. For this he gets my special award 'For Valour.'
The challenge winner, after much deliberation, I chose to be Bill: I considered the composition to be so well balanced, the highlights which attracted the eye were in the reflection, and he captured the detail in the wooden cladding. I liked the way the distortion in the bottom right of the reflection broke up the reflection. Very well seen, very well taken, and very well presented.
Thank you all for such high quality entries.
Over to you, Bill.
Best wishes to all,
Congratulations Bill - top notch image.
Great analysis of Wynn and Bill's images Jack - enjoyed reading your comments. Thanks for hosting it was an interesting challenge.
Well done to everyone else too.
Looking forward to your challenge topic for the coming week Bill
I appreciate the detailed comments.
I think it a very good idea to spend some time to study and comment on the entries as this will benefit us all.
Thanks to Jack for hosting and to everyone who entered.
Apologies for being late.
The theme for next week is "Texture"
Rules as normal and good luck.
Congratulators Bill very good entry this week as usual and thank you for the comments. I am still away camping so texture this week could be the wet stuff.
