Paree started a thing in the gallery a few years ago where she invited people to post pics of themselves in the 70s. It was a great idea. Now we can put pics in the forums I thought I'd resurrect it. Try and dig out the oldest pic you have with a camera
Here's one of me for starters.

digital watch, mechanical camera (well almost), hair...all novelties for me these days.

Lol it was a Contax...and the watch doesn't look as though it had the glass face on it.

Well, this an early one of me, held by my Dad. Taken by my older sister using a Box Brownie and ortho film 72 years ago!

I was not allowed to touch the camera as I had a habit of taking everything to bits that I could get my hands on! Smile

Me and Mum taken about the same time as the first one - holding my favourite toy. I wanted to do carpentry same as my Dad. This was the only tool that I was allowed to get near.

Jas great to see...but I did say "Try and dig out the oldest pic you have with a camera" perhaps I should have said "Try and dig out the oldest pic you have with you holding a camera" sorry. No problem though they're good to see...

q-016-jj-epz.jpg This the oldest that I can find. Taken in 1962/3 holding my Minolta Autocord.

    Taken c1986/7 - and it's a Contax 139Q not a Nikon! Wink

No, I was a Quality Engineer with an electronics firm making power supplies. Grin

Why? Are geography teachers somewhat dense, then? Tongue

and another in the '70s (see, I even had hair then) with my lovely wife and two sons (now in their late 30's early 40's - ouch)family-portrait-1970s.jpg
