    Hi,

I am still on a quest to find the ideal bag/case for my Canon 5D. My requirements are:

Fits the 5D with 24mm or 50mm prime lens attached.
Room for the other lens OR a 430EX flash

I'm not interested in rucksacks or anything bulky.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've got my eye on one of the LowePro Rezo AW series, but haven't had a chance to see one in the flesh yet.

I've already got a Toploader 65, but I'm selling my 24-70, so I've no need for it as it's too bulky for my needs.

Basically I want a lightweight, all weather bag (as compact as possible) that I can use whilst out walking without having to stop and remove my rucksack.

    Ta

Have a look at the Tamrac range, recently got one of the Pro Digital series (10D with battery grip) and I must say it is the fantastic.

I'll give you a nice black and yellow bag with NETTO on it for your 5D .. seems a fair swap

Thanks Dave! Sounds like a good deal as long as it has no holes in.

I'm searching for a shop in Leeds that has some bags I can look at. Jessops on the Headrow has a tiny range, and Jacobs has closed down as the lease has expired on their shop... I'm going to have a look at Jessops in the Merrion Centre tomorrow.

    Thanks for the suggestions

The Lowepro slingshot has all the advantages of a rucksack with the convenience of a shoulder one - worth a look.

The Lowepro slingshot 200 is perfect, if there is such a thing as a perfect bag!
I recently plumped for one as I hate having to take a backpack off each time to take a shot when on the move.

Another vote for the slingshot - superb design, fits well balanced on the back then swings round to the front to have the camera staring you in the face in a couple of seconds - highly recommended
