Well there's Beryl who lives in.. oh I see what you mean.
Barmouth itself is a fab place and of course you are in the foothills of Snowdonia so EVERYWHERE is wonderful for landscapes.
Just north of Barmouth is Harlech where there are some great beaches and the castle of course (funnily enough, I am editing some photos from one of "my" weddings which took place on the beach at Harlech!).
It's worth going to Port Madog to get the steam train up to Ffestiniog.
If you are keen on buildings, Portmeirion is worth a visit. Clough William-Ellis's village (made even more famous by The Prisoner and other TV programmes) is a quirky place with great architecture and beautiful grounds overlooking the sea.
To be honest, there is just so much to see and do I can't list it all although of course it does depend on how much travelling around you are prepared to do and also what you are 'into' photographically.
If you venture towards Llandudno, give me a call and I'll let you buy me lunch! ![]()

There's a few shots of that area in my portfolio which should give you some idea of what's about. ![]()
Kris.
I don't know where your travelling from but it's not just around Barmouth that's spectacular, your journey through Wales to get to Barmouth should get your creative juices flowing too ![]()
