Kind of: you can switch proof colours on whilst they're set to 'Internet Standard RGB' (sRGB). That's the default colour space of Windows, and by association also represents the average LCD monitor (roughly). Doing that encodes the current RGB values of the image directly into sRGB, although your monitor image in turn is limited by its own gamut, and any out-of-gamut colours re-mapped to the edge of the monitor profile.
