I am trying to remember the name of a TV series probably from the early 1970s about a bunch of bank robbers who move in with a family - can't remember if it's a guest house or what. They end up holding them hostage. Was a series. Anyone? It's driving me mad and google is being no help at all.

Bri are you thinking of The Ladykillers? An Ealing Studios classic but it was a film .. Smile

How about some of Stephen Poliakoff's - Shooting The Past, Perfect Strangers, Friends & Crocodiles. Excellent viewing.

BBC3 does some good dramas - Blackpool, Being Human. Any one else see Synchronicity?

Interesting that this thread has been resurrected after 3 years. I posted the following question on here 3 years back:

Quote: In case anyone missed it earlier...

I am trying to remember the name of a TV series probably from the early 1970s about a bunch of bank robbers who move in with a family - can't remember if it's a guest house or what. They end up holding them hostage. Was a series. Anyone? It's driving me mad and google is being no help at all.

I was staying with my parents a week or so back and I asked them about this, and they don't remember it either. Another hour on Google and still no closer. Anyone? If I find the answer, my life will have meaning again...

Can you remember any other details? Was it UK or USA (or other)? What about any of the actors' names? How long did it run for?
