Do you want Big cards for the big files, lots of smaller cards for less reliance on one device or Wifi Cards for wireless studio work?

    Or Flashcard.

There have been issues attempting to use brands other than Sandisk or Lexar in the D800, so you ,ay have to stick to a card made by either of those companies.

When I had a D800 for a brief play, none of my Kingston cards would work in it.

There's a bit more info on what does, and what doesn't work here.

    I hope this helps.

Fyi, I recently got a couple of Sandisk Extreme Pro 600X, and using them in an Olympus E-M5, the speed is even noticeable when erasing or formatting the card. I would highly recommend it, great for video and continuous drive of 9 fps. I got 2 8 gb cards, I don't use raw, from Hong Kong for $26.00.

    Sandisk.
16gb CF backed up with 16gb of Sandisk SD at least Extreme (pro if you must)
    Or Lexar .
I use these in my D800 with no problems
Why buy a D800 and try cheap cards ?
