    Hi guys & gals,

    I have just found out that the British GT Championship is at Oulton Park this weekend (17th & 18th July) so I might have a day out and go watch them.

    I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint at some of the better places to take pictures from.

    Thanks for any help.

    Leigh.

    It is a class of motorsport

    GT = Grand Tourer

    It covers quite a wide range of makes and styles...

    Yep, well nearly ;o) anything from Porsches, Ferraris, Dodge Vipers etc. Also Formula 3, Caterhams and The TVR Tuscan Challange. Should be a good day out (as long as the weather holds out)

    If you get thee early enough you can get a good position as they come out of druids corner.

    Also old hall corner can create some excellent spin offs.....

    If they are using the short circuit, Cascades gets pretty interesting.

    Get yourself to Knickerbrook, plenty of action. Depending on the circuit you get a high speed corner (always good for bumps and spins), or the chicane which bunches the cars up and is good for side by side action (and of course bumps, spins and lock ups).
    This link shows the circuit layout, it may help to spot potential viewing spots.
