    I have been researching the above topic for some time prior to buying the camera and apart from the 75 mm I am still looking for something at the ultra wide end

    If you want ultra wide your choices are the Olympus 9-18mm or the Panasonic 7-14mm. Smile

    thanks for the speedy response the 9-18 accepts filters and I am more comfortable with this for travelling

    Have you already got the 12-50mm if not have a look at the Pany 12-35mm.

    What made you go for the 75mm.

    the pany gets mixed reviews for such an expensive lens in contrast the photos online for the 75mm are amazing and I figure that I can modify my shooting style to suit

    There totally different beast, the 75mm is a portrait lens, the other a general purpus zoom and probably better as a travel lens.

    Travel lenses are generally the superzooms like the Olympus 14-150 or Pany 14-140.
