Just got myself an 1150GS Adventure (like Stolzy), it's got every extra the previous owner could have fitted including intercom, GPS, two way radio ABS, full pannier set and had only done 13000 miles in it's five year life so is almost pristine. Stuffed my previous bike, a 650GS Dakar up a tree a couple of months ago.
Sold my Vmax a while back; not replaced it yet.
Started my togging doing bike racing back in the early eighties.
I only use my pensioners special, 650cc. 1957 BSA Gold Flash restored 11years ago only goes out on nice sunny days when there is no risk of rain. Always owned and ridden British bikes never ridden anything remotely modern they all have the gear lever on the wrong side go far too fast and do not make a nice noise, also the BSA vibrates nicely and keeps you awake.
Honda CBF1000 rigged up as a pocket tourer with hard luggage. Love it.
