A friend of mine who is skint, had asked me to photograph his wedding. I agreed to do it as a present! However I have recently discovered that the bride wants black and white prints! Any advice? Processors? Tips? Techniques?
What camera are you going to use and which editing software are you going to use after you've taken the images?
Not sure what difference the camera makes while the editing software will make a difference.
Volumes have been written on conversion to B&W leaving aside the printing where you may have problems getting true black and white assuming of course that prints are required,
The best camera to use at a wedding is one that's totally familiar!
You can then concentrate on the creative bits.
Equipment Nikon D300. Editing software Elements 9. I can get hold of Eleements 10. I hope that some firm can produce a photo book.

Thanks for that Ken but the question was asked by me to gingerdougie..............if that's ok with you. ![]()
You could download the 15 day demo version of Silver Efex Pro 2 for your conversion work (it's supposed to be compatible with PSE 9). This month's issue (September) of Black & White Photography magazine has a review of 6 on-line printing services for B&W with CMYKimaging coming out as Best In Test.
Hope this helps,
Simon
