If I remember correctly the 2009 winner had a "snowy" feel to it as well Wink

So, it appears that whatever the theme you need some snow for it to be a winner !!

What is really amazing (and gratifying) is that the public voted for it. I thought that it was an image that would appeal to photographers but that Joe P. might prefer something less subtle.

Well done!

Well done Pen, now you get the dubious pleasure of helping to sift through the initial images to select the 3000 for the celebrity judges Grin

Speaking for myself welldone on winning and well done with a compact (hope my mate paul sees this mr get the latest equipment LOL), my choice was the "dish of the day" and the sheep I was surprised the "dish of the day" was not first or second.
That said you won so well done as you now have 1000 to spend on camera equipment im sure EPZ will guide you along the right tracks. Don't follow the sheep LOL (i know BAAAAD joke)

Pen,

Just been and had a look at the shot, great composition, the line of sheep guide you through the snow and take you through the picture.

Nice work. Smile
