On another thread aimed at getting more critiques to the photo gallery it has been suggested to create "buddy" lists.
Heres how it will work
There will be small groups say 8-10 per group of interested photographers. Then each week they will be given a theme, e.g. Macro, architecture, wildlife, landscapes, people, studio etc etc. Each week the subject will change, for fairness each group will be randomly generated and assigned a random subject. Hopefully this will encourage proper critiques and debates and increase the diversity of images - particularly on the chosen day.
I will kick the list off with interested parties from the other thread
OK lets get the ball rolling:
If I start the list off:
Nick_w
rowarrior
Pete ![]()

Please feel free to register your interest.
Nick it's something I'd really like to be involved in at some point, but now is not a good time sorry. I barely get chance to use my camera at the moment.
Ian
The list so far is:
Nick_w
rowarrior
Pete

MaryMac
Ahobbs
Reluctant_fish

It would be good if we could get "specialists" in different genres involved to offer not only where an image is failing, but also how to put it right technically. What is noticable to date its onlt e2 members who have shown an interest, maybe its a way we can help get non e2ers to get more involved so they are more likely to subscribe ??
I would love to join in but not too sure that I'm up to it technically - although it could be a way to improve?

Thats exactly what the idea is about, to try and improve peoples photography, thro constructive critiques, even some of the most gifted photographers in their chosen comfort zone will find it a challenge.
I'll give it a whirl.
God knows what I'll do when it comes to Wildlife or Birds though... probably one of my cats!
