I have joined. I need something new to give a try - I just need to know one thing, and it might be a stupid question, what is the definition of "close up" ? Looking forward to it.
Oh, one more thing, do uploads have to be done by the end of June or do all crits have to be done by then? H
And..........do you up load and link the picture to a meeting, never been to a meeting so have no idea. Sorry! H
Yep that makes sense - I am sure Ade will enlighten us on the definition etc.....Thanks.
Seems easy enough to be a participant ,so definitely count me in.
First shot has been loaded. Lets see how it goes.
hey - Nick chose "macro" yesterday
Well out of my comfort zone, though I do have the lensbaby close-up filter kit, so expect a blurry wonder from me!
I guess the definition would be reasonably broad to allow for personal interpretation - maybe it's a little insect, or a flower stamen, or an intimate portrait, a coin, or pretty much anything where you have taken a shot from close up, or at least closer than the norm.
To enter a shot into a meeting, you'll find there's a box when you upload a shot which is called
Link to Meetings:
There's a drop down list with all the meetings you are a member of - you just select the meeting/group you are a part of and then your photo will appear in the meeting page.
If you've never joined a meeting, you will have never seen the dropdown - so first thing is to join one, then you can check this out by "Editing" an old post - click edit and in the form below the shot, you'll see "Link to Meetings:" lower down.
looks like group 3 is needed then
still got no idea what to do for this "closeup" thing... not me at all, but that's the whole idea I guess
