    Can you upgrade the buffer on a camera?

    Might be worth looking into for me, not that I ever fill the buffer,

    Have you tried big N's website? I have a feeling you are thinking about a firmware upgrade, I dont think you can upgrade the buffer just tweak the way it works, could be wrong though!

    I am looking into the buffer upgrade to help with the sale of this camera, maybe worth doing...maybe not.

    I will have a look on the aheh Nikon site.

    Darren,

    there definitely is a buffer upgrade for the D1X - it costs around 175 (or it did a year or so ago) and it gives 21 shots instead of 9 as JPEGS.

    Think someone once told me that there's a Fuji type interpolation 'upgrade' for the D1X....a double yer pixels thang.
