when after months of thinking lol meant lots of love, I find out its laugh out loud lol There was I thinking EPZ was all fluffy , peace and love. lol
So since this realization, lol Ive noticed that lol is overused, and paints far too a broader brush.
We need more graduation of feeling, lol, perhaps we could start with Ins ( I nearly smiled)
Icfasc ( I can feel a smile coming), isamg ( Im showing all my gums)
Ihaboac ( Im having a bit of a chuckle) to illahfplwhwfpitlc (Im laughing like a hyena form planet laughter who has won first prize in the laughing competition )
Then we could have not so nice ones like Ilaynwy ( Im laughing at you not with you)
Imaflablljoan (Im making a face like a bulldog licking lemon juice off a nettle (polite version))
Ive just noticed these do not scan very well, and probably wont catch on. Lol
All suggestions gratefully received.
Martin

That's a bit hard on poor old Joan, isn't it?

Besides, why would anybody want to say "I'm a flabby Joan" anyway?

I think the problem, Martin, with the expanded acronyms like Illahfplwhwfpitlcis and Ilaynwy, is that most of them are already in use as welsh town names.

So 'Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyndrobwllllantisiliogogogoch' has a hidden meaning?
