Keith - I don't know weather to applaud your cavalier attitude to the welfare of your equipment (after all, is there anything more annoying that those who spend on weather sealed camera's, then keep them in the bag the first sign of rain in case it might get wet)

OR weather I should be appalled at your repeated clumsiness!

Did you chuck it in the sea, for a laugh, or were you just fed up with it?

Some highly amusing contributions - although as said, with 1300 quid's worth of prime lens attached, I guess the end result might have been predictable.......'sor right, Bruce - I'm jealous as hell. Well, I'm jealous of 5d owners, so you'll understand my position Sad Smile

Quote: Pining for a 1Ds Mk I ???

You can get shirt pocket compacts with higher res than that these days!

yes but without a proper lens does 40 million pixels really matter.

I,m going to hang off from buying the 1ds mk3 until kieth gets his 1ds mk4 three years from now. Gives me a while to add some grovelly comments to his excellent portfolio. Smile
