UPDATE!! iv just tried it with my cable release trigger and its working fine still not firing with the camera button though think the button is where the problem lies ill take it in later and see what they say.as most of my work is done using a 500mm, tripod and cable release and if its to expensive to get fixed least i know i can still use the olds 400d and not write it off.
"Iget along without you very well " ! You'll have to get the camera serviced before you can sell it anyway .I find I get along without a car very well as I get free transport all over Ireland now I'm almost 80 .My canon is always with me. Only thing I miss Is my husband's warm firm hand and a cuddle at night . I'd throw the larger down the sink and go up and tell her you were only joking !
