Auto ISO will still be badly implimented and for some reason only known in Japan the direct print button will still exist on the camera 
Actualy I expect this camera is not the 40D replacement.
I would expect a 5D replacement but it will no longer be a single digit camera and it will not be anounced till after Sony do their bit.

Based on the past the news of the 40D replacement will exist for about a year before it is launched.
The thing is for a crop sensor do we want 15mp, the limits of diffraction etc will come closer, and personaly I find myself wanting lower noise, or even better, greater dynamic range from the sensor.
So for that I would want the crop sensor to stop at about 10 to 12mp and instead push what can be done about dynamic range etc. But that is only me
For full frame there is an attraction of pushing towards 20mp. or so. Micro focus adjust could be very good, only 9AF points, ooh tricky.
As I said I know nothing its just what I would do if I were in charge of Canon/nikon/Sony etc.
Interesting times ahead. If there is no 5D replacement the suicide rate at a certain site will be terrible :-0
There was something mentioned in the ePz "news".
Rumour has it that Canon are due to release a camera specifically aimed at the glamour photographer - the Canon 36DD.
Yeah - the Olympics are gripping aren't they. Anyway I've just bought another film camera.... so there!
The French have had 2 appalling umpiring decisions this morning and I think I felt a real twang of sympathy for them (shakes head in disbelief)
Well of course it's the bank who's paying, not me. Mamiya 645 Pro TL with 2 N lenses care of the Credit Agricole de Savoie. LOL
