Hi everyone, ok i have always had canon cameras from the 350D all the way up to the 40D, then i sold my 40D and bought the Pentax K20D that is a fine camera and if you ask me better than my 40D was, i have now sold my K20D and am waiting for the release of the K-7 but wanted opinions on how you think the K-7 will fair against the 50D thanks![]()
Both will take good photo's if you put the effort into working them. Why ask and why spend so much money buying and selling cameras. But why sell the K20D, its not like the new camera is a massive leap on over the existing one. And a camera in the hand is worth 1,000 in the shop.
Like the 40D and K20D neither is so much better than the other to justify the costs of selling and changing systems. The Pentax will have in-camera IS and better sealing, the Canon the bigger lens range and faster AF if you use the correct lenses.
So unless you love giving money to camera companies and shops, I would say buy a K20D at run out prices, or get your old one back.
I'm still using a K10D and more than happy with it. As strawman says why constantly refresh your camera?
Unless you have a bottomless money pit you'd be better off upgrading lenses and other equipment, and if you do have a bottomless money pit why not go all out and get a Hasselblad?
