No they won't - well not directly anyway. These will be 'FD' lenses, whereas the digital bodies take 'EF' and 'EF-S' designated lenses.

You can get an adaptor - they can be found on eBay.

Although you'll loose a stop or so of light, AF won't work, neither will the iris so no auto exposure modes, centre weighted metering only - in short a complete pain in the ass.

Just save up for some EF lenses and use the FD lenses as they were intended - on the AE-1!

Look on ebay, you will find EOS>FD adaptors. Like others have said, there are plenty of disadvantages. I'm sure the cheap adaptors have a significant drop in optical quality too. I think there will be a crop factor too??? So [maybe] goodbye to wideangle lenses.

There were some Canon specific adaptors from Canon for the top end lenses. - long lens L series etc I think there pretty rare.

I don't know how the mid range lenses of the 70's and 80's compare with budget lenses today, granted the build quality of the FD primes and zooms were very good, i'm not sure that the zooms were optically that good, with the improvements in manufacturing technology, are today's cheapish zooms optically better than the early ones?
