Having recently purchased tha Canon EOS300D I am now looking at buying a zoom lens in the range 75-300.

Anyone out there who owns a digital who can recommend a good (prefereably Canon) lens. The technology has change since the good old days of my AE1 and so many different lens choices just for 1 zoom range

PS A wonderful and affordable digital camera and really pleased with it.

Hi Ian,

I have also got an E0S 300D and have recently bought a Tokina 28mm - 200mm lens (so 44mm - 320mm) for 199 from Link Cameras. Can't recommend the lens enough, I used it towards the end of my wedding shoot (the chap I was with leant me it) and it handles like a dream.

I love the 300D too!

I decided I needed a longer lens for my 300D. I bought the Sigma 70-300mm which I'm happy with. See my website on my portfolio page, and the image 'deer' for a sample photo. I would put the link here but I'm one of those unfortunates that can't seem to make it work.

Many thanks Nick and David. Plenty of choice now.

Like the deer shot David and is a good recommendation for the Sigma
