    Anyone had any problems with a Canon-G camera not recording RAWs. It was fine until this week and now it won't record RAW files.

    I've checked the setting in the menu and RAW+jpeg is selected and the correct icons show on the screen. I've tried it in AV and other modes. Anyone know what could be wrong? I've tried uploading the pics from the memory card from the computer too but there are no RAWs recorded at all.

    Any tips welcome.

    Have you tried setting it to raw only ?

    Just tried that and it's worked! Raw plus jpeg recorded. Now I wonder why that is?

    So it seems that I can't record a b/w jpeg and a colour RAW file on the G11. I always thought I could. I've just found the relevant page in the manual. Bummer. I can do it with the DSLRs.

    Oh well never mind. At least it's recording properly again.

    Yeah. User error I'm afraid. But I've learned something about the camera now so all good. Smile
