My father-in-law is looking for a Canon printer that will allow him to print photographs that match 99% of what is on the screen. His current Dell V505 printer doesn't have colour management on it so he can't use that printer. He is looking at the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Printer, which does have colour management, but its too big. is there an A4 version that can do what he needs and is compatible with Vista?
I got a Canon MP600 all in one from the Canon Outlet on Ebay. It uses the earlier version of ink which is cheaper than the new model.
Excellent results but it does depend on the paper. Calibration was difficult, but achievable, I tend to use non Canon papers. The very best results though are with a glossy paper from Lidl, professional quality a real bargain. I always use Canon ink.
