You might like to know that some teaser ads for an unspecified DSLR have appeared on various Canon websites.

"they" are saying that it shows a full frame prism and no pop-up flash...

here is the Canon UK one "the EOS story continues"

Yep - that looks like the first official teaser!

Only days away now, I think. 22 Sept is still a favoured date for the announcement of the 5D II.

If you pull up the shadows you can see where they've tippexed over the Nikon lettering.

FAB!!

As the days go on more is revealed, we argue the toss about what the specs mean, find an obscure Indonesian blog which features a couple of shots, read and re-read the preview on DPReview without learning very much, read Matt's preview on ePz and wonder if he's even held the bloody camera and conclude he hates Canon anyway.

Then finally - weeks later - after a few real reviews, we will know if Canon regain their rightful place as the DSLR king at every price point.
