merry xmas everyone. just trying to set my daughters new dell laptop up. but i cant seem to find the at key. ive tried both the shift keys while pressing the at key. but the at symbol will not appear??????????????????????????????
anyone got any ideas???????
its a dell notebook by the way.

What character do you get when you press the @ key?
Try the quotes key, if the keyboard is set up US they can be swapped
keyboard setting might be set to another country and i think the " and @ keys are different
You've got it set to 'English USA' (as if there is such a thing)!
This (for some reason) transposes the @ and " symbols. It's a mistake may people make when setting up their machine as Micro$oft set it this way by default. It's easily rectified.
