I have to photograph a friend of mines lamborghini gallardo but i want to take it on a old abandened airfield. I thought about standing on a hop up so I can get the runway dissapearing into the distance. The car is a baby blue convertable and i thought it would look good with a dark moody sky behind it. Unfortunalty its difficult to get everything right, so I was wondering if anyone could help me as I cant get the sky right behind the car. I think it might have to be two pics , one of the car and one of a sky blended together. Is there anyone that can help me please. Regards Richard

I think that car photography uses every trick in the book to get the right image. Use two (or more) pictures and make life easier for yourself.

As above a real must. How confident are you in your friends driving? If you have a free reign on the old airfield you should be able to get some great low shots too Smile And if you can use some of the corners then some great wide angle cornering shots. (disclaimer - I hold no responsibility for your safety on the later idea Wink )

Are you saying that you need help blending the two pictures together? What software do you own?

I use PS3 and lightroom but can never get 2 images blended that well. I ofton look at Ambiant Life's work as that is the type of image I am looking for. The only time I have managed to get anywhere near was I shot a VW Camper for a guy. He only worked a few miles away from me so it was easy to get there on a moody day. In fact I will post the pic today and see what comments I get. Thanks everyone for the info Richard
