To be honest i tried a few progs (although i wouldnt call them 'professional') and found them a little restrictive. I now create all my cards in Photoshop and have set up various templates to suit various card sizes and styles

The only way, Elements is also good, Or Microsoft's " Publisher " program, Check out Desktop Publishing for more.

Though as Paul says, Most if not all are not Professional.

Basically you just create a layout, Add picture and words, Send to your printer, Job Done.

Just take care with the vertical or horizontal text, Turning over the card in your printer ( If required ) etc etc etc, For a limited production run it can be fun.

For serious quantities you need a pro print lab.
