Hi guys, I'm new to the site, and I was wondering if any of you could help me out??

I'm trying to re-create some of the effects which are currently been used in top zines and by Mr La Chapelle. His pictures always look to have a cartoon / illustration feel to them and I was wondering how this is achieved. Is this done through using one of the filters in Paint Pro or what??? :o) I know alot of different techniques are probably used to make the overall pictures but the main effect I'm interested in is the cartoon effect which are created from photographs!! Does anyone know how this magic works?? - I've got an assignment to finish soon....... Thank You :o)

There are a couple of scripts in PSP8 (black and white sketch et al) that change a photo into a line drawing type image.

    Very good they are too.
