The iPad chargers cover 110v - 250v.

I bought my iPad in the USA with the US charger etc. When I got back home to the UK I checked the markings on the charger and it covers the 240v range as well.

You should have no problems.

Sorry don't know what charger the Kindle comes with.

Kindle charger is 100-240v AC and is basically a USB charger ( I also charge my phone with it and vice versa), how long you going for the Kindle lasts ages on one charge.

Your Kindle will charge just fine in the US
