Has anyone been watching the Charlie Waite series on Grampian TV?
I've not been into photography for that long, but can't remember seeing any other programmes on this subject before.
It's had a few weeks break, but returns tonight with episode 3 (People). The first two episodes were pretty interesting and even had my wife hooked and asking me questions about av settings etc!
Those in the UK with Sky boxes can add the channel by following this link.
For those that have been watching, what do you make of it so far?
Cristian
The Grampian website says 18:00, but it's usually 17:40, so I'm setting my video up in advance.
Be warned though, it does make you sick when you see the quality of his shots! But if you spend weeks waiting for the right day for a shot and then sit there for hours waiting for the right light, then I guess it'd have to be near damn perfect!

I used to work for a breakdown company, one day I was returning to the workshop, I was driving along the avenue of trees not far from Kingston Lacy House , I saw a man standing in the middle of the road, camera on tripod, I sounded the horn to warn him but he took no notice, I sounded it again, he grabbed his tripod and ran to the edge of the road, I thought what an idiot almost getting run over just to take a photo of a tree, as I got nearer I wound my window down to shout at him, I just waved and shouted OK Charlie, it was the man himself. A couple of weeks after that he was on BBC's Countryfile programme showing you how he photographed the poppy field on the other side of the avenue.....bet you're glad I told you that!
i added the channel ok (and some others sky found) but i was looking for grampian tv.
ive tried again but still cannot find the channel number.
the site doesnt say what number the channel is on.
thx
