I live in the midlands and would love to take some landscape photos.

Any ideas, or anyone want to meet?

I live in Birmingham, but am happy to travel as long as I get can get some good shots. However, after looking at your portfolios I think I would be a little embarassed as you are far more advanced than I am!

The Peak District would be the obvious choice from the Midlands (The White Peak).

The good thing about EPZ meets is that no one cares how good, bad or damn ugly your shots are....just a chance for like minded people to talk, drink and usually share a joke....they even take photo's but that is not obligatory.

I'd be up for a meet in the Peak District providing it's a weekend and it fits in with my ridiculously busy life. :0)

I'd be in for a midlands meet (White Peak would be great). I've been trying to get to one for a while, and that would be in easy shouting distance for me.

I think I've just about got my head round the stigma of my lens being a lot smaller than everyone elses...Smile

If nothing it seems that I could learn a lot, especially after looking at the portfolios you all have. I am fairly new to photography so completely open to any guidance. I have never been to White Peak before so, why not? Do you know of anywhere I could try and get some decent waterfall pictures from?

You can only learn by coming out with other photographers, specially what not to do, peak districk, thats a good run out, Cheltenham. Will have to leave early for that, I am up for it as longs as a weekend.

Give us some dates.

Paul
