    if I choose nikon D3100 for bird photography ,is it suitable to take clear & sharp images?

    Providing the camera is not a "lemon" (and i'm guessing the D3100 is not) then use a good sharp lens and you probably won't be dissapointed. Buy the best quality lens you can afford.

    I have the d3100 and am fairly new to photography, have a look at my portfolio I have quite a few bird/wildlife photo,s on there.

    bird photography all about being in the right place at the right time. the more you chase um the harder it gets. any camera will take bird pictures with a good lens its your skills that will get the pictures .
