I have been asked by my nearest and dearest what I want for Christmas. Bless her, it seems she wants to buy me something relating to photography, but is not sure what to get.

This got me thinking what would you, the other enthusiasts, want?

Not that I am offering to buy... but, perhaps spouses etc may be steered here for the odd hint.

Now how do I recommend a Canon 28-300 IS L series lens without seeming greedy?

    Regards to all,

    Adam

Actually HANG ON! enough of the stereotypes thank you. Your wife may well want a Leica digilux or stylish crumpler camera bag or 19" LCD screen for all we know. We don't all sit around thinking about jewellry and makeup and clothes you know!

I rekon Sus would like a sports car, the faster the better. Judging by another thread she knows how to get out of trouble ;P

??? no comprendo! (I'm too eco for sportscars. Well supposed to be anyway)

Nothing I really need at the moment, except small things like an off-camera trigger cord and possibly a spyder. Hopefully this thread will give me inspiration.

Hmmm, Christmas list. In my case that would be a St. Nicholas list, actually. But same thing, really, I suppose.

Well, how about a nice flash gun. Or a studio set-up. A couple of L lenses thrown in? Right - dream on! I know...
